A private household is seeking an experienced and highly organised PPA to provide part-time support. This is a long-term role working with a respectful, low-profile HNW family with three teenage children, who value discretion, reliability and efficiency.

About the Role

This role involves supporting a busy private household with a range of administrative, organisational and lifestyle management tasks. The successful candidate will be a trusted point of contact who can ensure the smooth running of the family’s personal affairs and household operations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating and managing family travel and holidays, including liaising with travel providers and overseeing itineraries
  • Managing diaries and scheduling personal appointments, family commitments and activities
  • Overseeing a household inbox and general correspondence
  • Supporting the organisation of occasional private events
  • Assisting with the management and upkeep of their London property, including coordinating maintenance or renovation projects
  • Handling general household administration (permits, insurance, service checks, etc.)
  • Liaising with and managing external suppliers and household staff
  • Researching and sourcing high-quality services and providers
  • Acting as a point of contact for tutors and other family support services
  • Assisting with occasional family projects (e.g., education-related research and relocation planning)
  • Maintaining organised digital filing systems and records
The candidate
  • The ideal candidate will be a highly capable and proactive PA with strong organisational skills and excellent judgement.
  • Proven experience in a similar private PA role
  • Highly efficient, detail-oriented and solution-focused
  • Discreet, trustworthy and dependable
  • Calm, grounded and capable of managing multiple priorities
  • Flexible and responsive when needed
  • Confident managing household logistics and suppliers
  • Strong digital skills and comfortable using common communication tools
  • Additional languages (particularly French) would be advantageous but are not essential
The details
  • Role: Private Personal Assistant
  • Hours: Approximately 20 hours per week (flexibility required as workload may fluctuate during the year)
  • Salary: Up to £75,000 pro-rata
  • Location: Predominantly remote, with the ability to attend a weekly in-person meeting at the family residence in West London
  • Benefits: Christmas bonus, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
